the beginning
All of us were exposed to the world of arts and we were able to understand more about acting and theatre. Listen to the briefing about acting and theatre made us 'melt' in exciting and eager to begin our dramatization. As this trip is related with our assignment, we were asking as many question as we could to get the information needed and to gain as much knowledge as we could to be applied in our drama which will be held this April.
So, let's do some actions!

what we got?
It is not easy to be the art as what we thought. Every career in this world has its own challenge. As a trainee teachers, of course this career is a way too different from us. Nevertheless, it is depends on us, when there is a will, there is a way! As we were listening to the briefing given, we were be able to know a lot of new information about drama or theatre:

writing a good script
In a way to write a good script, many elements have to be considered. Writing without observing and thinking would make a script becomes moody and not interesting at all. How to write a good script?
These are the steps:
1. Know your audience (children, adult, or teenager)
2. Know the concept
3. Choose the issue to be brought out
4. Creating the plot. (What do you want to happen in the story.
5. How to end the story? Is it chronologically or not?

techniques to memorise the script
Sometimes a good actor also tends to forget his script. Well, nobody is perfect. An actor has their own way to memorise a long and literate script. A part from it are:
a. Read the script many times
b. Read the script loudly
c. Separate the sentences and memorise one by one
d. Know the meaning of the each line in the script
e. Record you voice reading the script and listen to it many times
So, try these by yourself and you will find them helpful. 1,2,3, action!

what else?
From this briefing, we also knew that to be an actor, one have to learn to project his voice through vocal class and feel the emotion of every characters through acting class. Actors have to observe people in order to make their action succeed. For example, if the actor wants to bring the character of old man, so he must observe the way an old man perform his life. Observe and apply. That is one of the way for the actor to make his acting become real and do not look stiff.
What is ellipsis?
- Ellipsis is a tool for an actor to change his script during the play if he forgot the actual script, but it have to be same in the term of meaning. That is why an actor should understand the script, not only memorizing it.
